Emergence Counseling
It is possible to remember our inherent brilliance and goodness and return to a deeper sense of wholeness. This may be the most important work of our lives, and doing it together makes it possible.
Emergence counseling is being together in sacred inquiry and welcoming whatever is asking for attention in your life. Having the clear and caring presence of another with you creates space for deeper discovery and change to happen. In our work together, we hold a safe and sacred container to invite in the deep, unasked questions of your heart. What do you long for but don’t know how to bring in? Where do you feel hurt, stuck or alone? How can you be in closer alignment with what you, or your soul, is calling for most?
I help you access your innate wisdom, shift stuck, chronic patterns and live with deeper connection, purpose and ease. My approach is relational, grounded and life-affirming. I know that you are the expert on your own experience. I see deeply and bring loving attention to the hidden-away places inside you, while also attending to the needs and questions of daily life. I practice with a spirit of joyfulness, play and curiosity.
Our work together unfolds organically. I meet you where you are and invite an emergent process to unfold.
My approach draws from a range of teachers and methods including: somatic healing, Internal Family Systems, Buddhist and Jewish contemplative practice, cultural healing and social change work, and deep nature connection.
Emergence counseling sessions with me can include:
* Guidance in starting or deepening spiritual practice or ritual
* Emotional healing and shifting limiting beliefs & patterns
* Cultural reclamation & healing from assimilation, colonization & cultural suppression
* Life coaching — emotional & practical support to clear blocks & move forward in any area of life
* Support & skills for embodiment, grounding & accessing intuition
* Healing from internalized oppression & the conditioning to act out oppression
* Exploring identity, queerness, and gender
* And, anything else that emerges as we land and inquire together
Each practice I offer can stand on its own, or can complement any of the other practices.
